§ 13-29. Certificate of occupancy.

  • No building shall be occupied in whole or part and or a certificate of occupancy or certificate of compliance issued without the approval of the AHJ. Failure to obtain a certificate of occupancy or certificate of compliance prior to being an occupied business may, in addition to other remedies, be cause to have issued a citation by the Code Enforcement Officer and pay double of all inspection fees and any penalties as set in Section 13-31.
